Rotary International is the world's first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self.

The Mountain View Rotary Club was chartered in 2007.  We currently have about 21 active members in Northern Colorado who are interested in serving our local community and building lasting relationships with other Rotarians. Most of our members are raising families; some are empty nesters.

We meet on the first Wednesday of each month for lunch and listen to a presentation about an interesting business, a community member's inspiring accomplishment, or the amazing work happening at one of our nonprofit organizations. Our meetings take place from noon to 1 p.m. at the Johnstown Scheels sporting goods store (4755 Ronald Reagan Blvd.)

In addition to our monthly meetings, we gather after hours for social fun and schedule volunteer efforts every few months to donate our time to a local nonprofit. We hold an annual peach sale fundraiser to raise money for youth scholarships and each year we host the Heroes Among Us dinner to honor local men and women who serve as role models and mentors for our youth.
