Celebrating Heroes Among Us

Loveland Mountain View Rotary hosted its seventh annual Heroes Among Us dinner March 21 at Immanual Lutheran Church.

Each year, Loveland Mountain View Rotary invites students from Berthoud and Loveland schools to nominate a "hero" who has made an impact in their life.
This year, we received more than 200 nominations and honored 52 heroes during a celebration dinner held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Loveland. The heroes ranged from teachers and counselors to extended family members and others.
Keynote speaker Mark Hoog talked about the positive impact each of us can have on another person and the joy and satisfaction that it brings.
