What is RYLA?
It stands for "Rotary Youth Leadership Awards" and is a leadership camp for sophomores, juniors and seniors.
It's held at the YMCA of the Rockies in this summer.

There's also Young RYLA, which is basically the same thing, but just for kids in the 7th grade.

Both RYLA and Young RYLA are awesome leadership camps for kids, and there's no cost...we pick up the tab for participants.
Applications are being accepted until 3/30/23, and there's limited space, so read on for details!
Who doesn't love a juicy Palisades peach! Our annual peach sale is on again, to raise funds for college scholarships that are awarded to graduating seniors here in Loveland. It's a tasty way to support local high school seniors! Palisades peaches are renown for their taste, and we're selling 10 pound boxes for just $30 a box.

There's no limit...just contact your local Mountain View Rotary member to place your order by July 21, 2022.  Here's a list of active Mountain View Rotary members in our community.

Truscott Elementary is in downtown Loveland and their student garden was ready for some Mountain View Rotary TLC! This project, off and on due to the pandemic, is something we've been looking forward to doing.

Congratulations to our 2022 scholarship winners. This year we awarded each winning student with a $1,000 scholarship. Congratulations to all of the participants...you are true Heroes!

Life’s journey is often full of twists and turns, joys and pain, highs and lows. To thrive and sometimes survive, the help of another individual is necessary. Even through simple acts of kindness, encouragement, inspiration or courage, a lasting impression can create a lifelong, impacting relationship. HEROES are AMONG US!

Applications for the 2023 program will be announced next year. Have a great summer!

A little wind and cold weather won't stop these Rotarians!  Loveland Mountain View Rotary members called an audible last-minute due to inclement and hosted our annual progressive bike party at Ryan's Sports Bar to watch some college football.
Mountain View Rotary volunteered time at the Food Bank For Larimer County's Loveland Repack room on Thursday, April 6th.  Our members enjoyed the opportunity to serve our community, and were astonished at the volume of food and amount of work goes into this incredible operation.  Thank you Food Bank employees and volunteers for all that you do!

Today, our club was treated to an informative keynote presentation by Dani Belinski, General Manager of Rams Sports Properties for Learfield Sports.  Dani, a proud CSU alumni, educated us on the relationship between CSU and Learfield Sports.  We learned of the national impact Learfield Sports has on collegiate athletics and saw some specifics of the new football stadium currently under construction.  Our club is excited to tour the new facilities soon.  Thank you, Dani!

CSU Head Football Coach Mike Bobo spoke with Mountain View Rotary recently.  He shared his passion for football, leadership, and spoke about the importance of pushing out of our comfort zone.  He provided a power-packed message and our club is excited to see such a strong leader at the helm of CSU football!

Meggan Jorgensen, DPT from Rocky Mountain Physical Therapy educated Mountain View Rotary's members on the art of myofascial decompression, aka cupping.  She treated several members and afterward they had the marks to prove it.  Thank you Dr. Jorgensen!!

Mountain View Rotary was treated to an EXTREMELY EXCITING and star-powered talk by the Wolfpack on November 30th, 2016.  Noah Kaufman, Brian Arnold, and Ian Dory shared their experience on the hit TV show and more importantly the values of and what it means to be a member of The Wolfpack.  Thank you Wolfpack!

Scott James, City of Johnstown Mayor and host of Scott and Sadie in the Morning on 97.9, shares with Mountain View Rotary many of the exciting developments going on at I25/Hwy 34 and the City of Johnstown.
We like to have fun, too!  On Saturday, October 8th, Mountain View Rotary hosted its annual Progressive Bike Party.
On October 1st, Rotarians volunteered their time to build a sustainable garden for the children at Lincoln Elementary School.  The garden will serve as an outdoor educational center teaching children about healthy eating and sustainable gardening practices.
